1,600 square feet of amazing studio and creative work space (expandable up to 3,000 sq ft.). Includes separate front room and bathrooms. We are steps away from Disney Animation Studios (Grand Central Station) and Dreamworks. We are actually located in Burbank, but officially the address is called Glendale.
The place has been cleaned and sterilized for you. It’s up to each of you to follow your own procedures to keep your team safe during the shoot.
General Rules
If cleaning is required after your usage of the space, we may charge an additional $100 cleaning charge, unless the cleaning requires an extended amount of time, see below. SMOKING In California it is illegal to smoke or vape (weed or anything else) in a commercial facility, therefore SMOKING or VAPING IS NOT ALLOWED IN THE SPACE. If someone breaks the rules THERE WILL BE AN AUTOMATIC CHARGE OF $150. We have people of all ages, including children, in our space, and when smoking occurs, it’s very difficult for us to get the smell out of the place in a timely fashion. It often takes days for the smell to go away. The door to the outside of the space is right in front, so people can smoke outside very easily.
ADDITIONAL CLEANING CHARGES Since the space is supposed to be returned to us in the condition that it was in when you rented it, if cleaning requires extensive cleanup we will have to charge for that according to the time it takes to clean up at the regular studio rental rate – if it’s 15 minutes, you would be charged $25 for example, if it’s 2 hours, that’s $200 in cleaning fees! This is only due to the fact that people are unable to rent the space after your booking until it is clean enough for them to use it. PRICE INCREASE $150/hr for any hours pre 8am or post 8pm. If you book the space before 8am or from 8pm on, we need to adjust the price for those super early or super late hours to $150/hr for just those early or late hours. That gets taken care of the day of the shoot. Also, try to book the hours you need, if you go over, overage hours are calculated at 1.5x the normal rate.
IMPORTANT – REGARDING THE TOTAL TIME OF RENTAL
The hours you book the space are the time you arrive to the space to the time that you leave, including setup and breakdown/cleanup, so you must compute the hours you need with that in mind as we can’t rent the space out to other people if you are still in it 🙂 Again, THE TIME IS THE TOTAL TIME YOU ARE IN THE SPACE. Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Feature Rental Services Agreement.
All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.
Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and 7 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than 7 days before the Event start time are not refundable.
